“Even more thanks for the absolutely amazing book. What a publication!! I've read it and re-read it and now entirely appreciate the piece of research that says you can read a book to a child 30+ times and they're still getting something new from it. It's just how I feel about it. I really don't know where to start in terms of saying just how fabulous I think it is - what really impresses me is the thoughtful and sensitive way it's been put together with so many different contributions. Dr Cathy Hamer

“I bought it as a Christmas present for my kids, and they loved it so much, especially hearing about all the wonderful Heritage homes of the bears that they begged to be able to come over to see everything themselves.” Rob Thomson, Guernsey

The Jersey Childcare Trust

The Jersey Childcare Trust a small charity making a huge difference for children living with disabilities and/or adversity as well as their families. The charity organises programmes to enable all these children to have the best start with the vision that every child in Jersey has access to the nurture, care and learning they require to thrive.
In 2019 alone, the work of the Trust ensured that 39 children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in 19 private nurseries were provided over 9,876 hours of support. Without this, these children would not have been able to play and learn alongside their peers.
